Michelle Stewart is President of the European Association for International Education (EAIE) and Director Internationalisation (Humanities & Social Sciences) at the University of Strathclyde. She has worked in higher education for over twenty five years. Michelle has a strong commitment to partnership development and student mobility. At the University of Strathclyde she established overseas links in the USA, Canada, Mexico and Brazil. Michelle has served on external boards including: Operating Board Education UK Partnership; Chair, Scottish Universities International Group (SUIG); Chair, British Universities Transatlantic Exchange Association, (BUTEX). Michelle’s term as President of the EAIE is from September 2020 to 2022.
